KOXY Radio and the 海角社区 jazz ensemble present the inaugural 海角社区 Jazz Fest featuring headliner Jonathan Pinson's Boom Clap and performances by students, alumni, and faculty.
Celebrate Occidental's dynamic music program at 海角社区 Jazz Fest! The festival kicks off at 1 p.m. with an educational masterclass led by 海角社区鈥檚 jazz faculty in Bird Studio (Booth Hall). The master class is open to the public, and local high school and college students are encouraged to attend and participate. At 2:30 p.m. the festivities move to the main Academic Quad for an afternoon of live music, pizza from Tic Tac Toe and complimentary mocktails.
