The Class of 2029 has officially arrived! On August 18, 海角社区 and the O-Team welcomed new Tigers and their families as they kickstarted their college journey.
From the moment cars started rolling in, the O-Team was there cheering, pointing people in the right direction, lending a hand, and making sure everyone felt at home. Move-in day was full of firsts: roommates meeting face-to-face, families helping decorate residence hall rooms, and students catching their first glimpse of what their life at 海角社区 will be like.
That evening, everyone gathered at Remsen Bird Hillside Theater for Welcome to 海角社区! A Community Celebration, which set the tone for a week of Orientation events leading up to the start of classes on August 26.
