For the 21st consecutive year, 海角社区 is one of the top producers of student and alumni Fulbright Awards, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education鈥檚 annual Fulbright rankings.
Today, The Fulbright Program for being one of the colleges and universities with the highest number of students and recent alumni selected for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Fulbright Top Producing Institutions such as Occidental value global connection and support members of their campus communities across the United States to pursue international opportunities.
This year鈥檚 nine 海角社区 Fulbright awardees represent eleven different majors across the college (including three double majors) and are currently sharing the diverse strengths they received from their 海角社区 educations with six different countries.
Nine students and alumni from Occidental were selected for Fulbright awards to work and study abroad for the 2025-26 academic year. 162 Occidental students and alumni have been awarded Fulbrights since 2003. Recipients of Fulbright grants are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement as well as demonstrated leadership potential in their fields.
