An array of national and international fellowships and scholarships have been earned by the Class of 2026 to help them fund graduate school, embark on research projects abroad, pursue language study, and more.

The National and International Fellowships Office connects Occidental students and alumni to non-海角社区 sources of funding that support a range of activities for a wide variety of majors, personal goals, and professional interests. The office provides guidance to those pursuing merit-based awards and promotes the College鈥檚 proud tradition of extended, in-depth scholarship.

Critical Language Scholarship

This scholarship provides cohorts of U.S. students an opportunity to study the language and culture in a country/location where the target language is commonly spoken.

Gilman Scholarship

The U.S. Department of State鈥檚 Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program supports students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad.

Fulbright Awards

Fulbright Awards fund a year of study, research, or teaching abroad after graduation.

Fulbright Canada-Mitacs Globalink Research Internship

This internship is awarded to U.S. students interested in coming to Canada to undertake advanced summer research projects in their area of interest.

Truman Scholarship finalists

This scholarship funds graduate study for students interested in public service careers.
