Occidental’s dining program is known for its variety, quality, and commitment to sustainability.
Occidental’s Campus Dining team prepares all meals on campus, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and offering a wide range of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Our dining services also emphasize environmental responsibility through sustainable sourcing and waste-reduction practices.
Meal Plan Overview
If you live in a residence hall, you’re required to purchase a meal plan. Students living in other College-owned houses—or off campus—may also choose to purchase a plan for added flexibility.
Meal plans can be used at any of Occidental’s dining locations:
- The Marketplace – cafeteria-style dining with daily rotating menus
- Tiger Cooler – fast-casual café with grab-and-go options
- Berkus Hall Saturday Dinner – weekend community meals
- The Green Bean – student-run coffee shop featuring locally roasted coffee and snacks
